Laurence recently joined HKW as a partner in their New York office. Prior to that, he served as Managing Partner of Branford Castle Partners. At Branford he was responsible for investment evaluation, execution, and board oversight of Branford Castle Fund investments. While at Branford, he was involved with many of the Branford Fund’s portfolio companies, including Earthlite, Vitrek, Fibrix Filtration, Lafayette Instrument, and Drew Foam.
Previously, Laurence founded Rubicon Associates, an independent sponsor, where he invested in and took on senior operating roles in small, private companies. Earlier in his career, he worked at Morgan Stanley in New York and Singapore, and at Castle Harlan. He is a former member of the Board of Trustees of Riverdale Country School. Laurence received his M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School and his B.A. from Carleton College.
